The dry season, from June to September, is the greatest time to see wildlife in Rwanda. A safari in Rwanda would not be complete without a walk with primates in the forest. Rainforests have a naturally wet environment, and it is impossible to avoid rain completely. Walking in the jungle is easier during the dry season, which is also when most primate hikes, including gorilla trekking, are recommended.
