You should budget a starting price of US$500 per person per day, but it is difficult to put a specific figure on a trip, as a lot of variables need to be taken into account. For example, Tanzania camping safaris are generally cheaper than Tanzania lodge safaris. Conversely, the Serengeti and some other parks in the northern circuit have big hotels that are much cheaper than the small, exclusive lodges and tented camps – although the latter are often more basic. The season makes a big difference too. Discounted rates apply if you are willing to travel in the rainy season, while you’ll pay a premium to visit during the height of the wildebeest migration.”

How safe is Tanzania for tourists?
“Tanzania has a slick and experienced tourist industry, and a Tanzanian safari Tours overall is very safe. For tourists on a Safe Drive Tanzania: There is a lot of petty crime in big cities such as Dar es Salaam and Mombasa, so walking around alone isn’t recommended. Camping in Tanzania
You can have a fun vacation in Tanzania’s great outdoors by going on an adventure camping safari. This activity is great for people who want to get away from city life and connect with nature.
The unique sounds of the dove and weaver birds wake you up in the morning. The smell of coffee fills the air as you come out of your tent into the early morning scenery. Right now, the colours of nature are especially striking, and the long shadows of the trees over the camp are made by the low golden light.
After a short time, you go on a morning game drive in a modified 4×4 with one of our tour guides. Always be on the lookout for any movement or flash of colour. It could be a leopard following you, a family of foraging mongooses, or a huge Ground Hornbill looking for a snake-sized meal. The thrill comes from not knowing what you might find.
When you go on one of our adventure camping trips, you will go deep into the national parks of Tanzania. You will drive on rough, exciting roads, go by small towns in the country, and see beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife. At night, you stay in cabins that are mostly open, either inside or just outside of national parks.

Seeing a chase and kill, falling asleep to the sound of an owl hooting, or waking up to the sound of hyenas laughing are just a few of the things that people have done. Being close to nature, especially at night when there are millions of stars and sounds of the night are playing together, is an experience that you will never forget.
